With their debut album in 1987 entitled "Appetite for Destruction," they were greeted with spread arms by many. This album has remained one of the band's most pop albums to date. The band members included Axl Rose, who was the lead vocalist, and lead guitarist Tracii Guns, who was later replaced by Slash.
