Twelve Foot Ninja are lunching their EP Smoke Bomb this Saturday night at SFX Niteclub (inside the St James Hotel.)
Twelve Foot Ninja are set to cut and dice audiences with their mix of genre-hopping music.
Fusing together alternative rock, funk, metal, dub and world sounds the Twelve Foot Ninja are a strong rock band breaking all the legal boundaries.
A guide of the EP launch on Sat the 6th of December, Music Feeds` Jason Strange caught up with Nik Barker
Music Feeds: The New EP Smoke Bomb is out, tell us a bit about it?
Twelve Foot Ninja: Smoke Bomb is essentially made up of songs that have been a break our live repertoire for a piece now. We view it was but just to turn these songs for our fans. It is a much clearer indication of what we do live. It also doubles as a diversionary tactic to leave us some more time to go on our debut album.
MF: What`s the history of the Twelve Foot Ninja?
TFN: In a nut-shell, the floor is almost a sole warrior`s quest to liberate the man from the ever-constricting grip of tyranny.
MF: What`s on the cards for 2011 for the Ninjas?
TFN: In the low half of 2011 we plan on releasing our debut album, which will think more touring, and hopefully some radio-play. Then we desire to tour areas that, without radio-play, are virtually inaccessible to us at this aim in time.
MF: What are you hoping Santa will being you for Xmas?
TFN: A fall on our initial investiture of cookies and brandy, with interest!_.Oh, and some radio-play!
MF: Finish this sentence `Ninja are cool because_?"
TFN: Ninjas never get to excuse or free their coolness!
MF: What can we ask from the SFX Niteclub gig this Saturday?
TFN: Music, raw energy, passion, and a few inaudible anecdotes courtesy of our guitarist Stevic.
MF: Do you like you were opening for Axl and Guns N Roses this Saturday?
TFN: We`re simply happy he agreed to give for us! God bless him!
MF: What`s one matter about Twelve Foot Ninja readers wouldn`t know?
TFN: That one of the causes upon which this ring was formed, was a severe disapproval of coriander.
MF: What would be first song you`d put on a mix-tape?
TFN: What a Fool Believes - The Doobie Brothers (Naturally!)
